Sister Wendy delivered both in this moderately-priced over-sized art book! I clapped with delight when I opened the book for the first time. It is % in colour (a must to truly appreciate art work in a book), with easy passages describing the artist and his or her by: 1. Telgemeiers art is wonderful, and her story is strong. Sisters captures the difficulty of being a kid, and the frustrations and joys of family. Its funny and its sweet and its poignant - I highly recommend Sisters. Ruskin, who had encountered the principle of ut pictura poesis in his favorite critics and in the practice of his favorite artist, was well versed in this manner of viewing the arts long before he began to write Modern Painters.
